ABOUT US
The GIRO DE BAILE is an annual leisure cycling sportive in North Mayo during the August Bank Holiday weekend.
The event is organised to raise money for various charity organisations. Facilitated by Baile an Chaisil Cycling Club, the event is sanctioned by Cycling Ireland.
The event caters for all people intereset in cycling; from begineers to advanced. No prices for the winner except the satisfaction of strenuous exercise in good company.
The cycle route covers the north Mayo coastal section of the Wild Atlantic way as well as providing stunning veiws of the iconic Mayo locations from Nephin mountain to Carrowmore lake in Erris.
The beauty of the route is so renowned that the An Post RAS has chosen this rote for its 2015 addition.
